didnt they make a change a while back to ui settings where you have to check or uncheck somthing to make mouseover's work based on either the person or their box in the grp/raid window?

    Wht not just?

    #show Healing Spray
    cast @mouseover Healing spray

Why would you ever need a stop casting in a mouseover macro?

    #show Healing Spray
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast @mouseoverui Healing spray

That would be the correct macro what it does is only casts the spell on the ui where as @mouseover will cast the spell on the ui and if you have the mouse pointer over the person's character.

All my healing spells have the @mouseoverui in them and cascade has a cast @self in the macro.

Usually used in Cleanse and emergency healing macros.

Such as in RoS trash, theres a debuff that if not cleased in about 8sec will explode and kill anyone near the target. id probably want to stop casting my 3sec RF and cleanse them instead

will it heal your target if there is no mouseover?

Yes as long as you have the target selected it will heal that person that is selected if you mouse over someone else in the raid ui it will then instead heal that person and if you take the mouse back off the raid ui it will heal the person you have selected.

This is how I heal every instance and raids.

I do not focus the target I select the target and then heal whoever otherwise my mouse pointer is not on the raid ui
