    Default Caster/Melee dps stats question

    Would I want to stack +int/+end/+focus [gear, essences, potions, etc] when running around as a caster or melee dps cleric? According to the following at http://rift.zam.com/wiki/Rift_101-_Atrributes_(Rift):

    Intelligence Increases Spell Power, Increases Spell Crit, Increases Maximum Mana
    For: Mages & Mana-Based DPS
    1pt = 1pt Spell Power
    1pt = 0.5pt Spell Crit
    1pt = 10 Max Mana

    Wisdom Inceases: Spell Crit and Inceases: Mana Regen
    For Healing-Based
    1pt = 0.5pt Spell Crit
    1pt = 1.5 Mp10

    In effect, I'd probably want 2 sets of gear - one for caster/melee dps and another stacked with wisdom for healing?
    How do you kill, that which has no life?

    Wisdom gives more spell power per point than int. Never choose int over wisdom if you have the choice.

    Your info is off a bit.

    For Clerics:

    Wisdom gives you like .75 SP per pt and mp5.
    Intellect gives you like .25 SP per pt and spell crit and mana pool.

    You want chain gear which usually has more Wisdom then Intellect, and for....

    DPS stuff like spell crit and focus.
    Heals more raw Spell power.
    Tank wants Toughness and end/dodge/parry.

    As your secondary stats on gear. Accessories/planar essences you probably want to get stuff with a mix of int/wis and spell crit.

    In general you favor wisdom over intellect for clerics, but the dps classes can get alot of use out of the bonus crit from intellect....but not a big deal if you have raw spell crit instead.

    Hmm..so maybe site needs to be updated?

    I've been stacking +wisdom, +focus, and +endurance when possible.
