    Default Critical hit ratios for all classes

    Was playing only 1 class on beta - Cleric, and it seems that crits are 150% of the base damage/heal. Also the passives +20% crit dmg increase it to 170%

    Is my calculation right?
    Was wondering what's the critical hit ratio for other classes?

    It's indeed 150% and that applies to all classes whether doing melee, ranged or magic attacks.

    Yep, every class/souls has crits that do 150% the normal value for all attacks, spells, heals, everything. And the various things that increase crit damage appear to be additive.

    I was wondering do the +damage% talents in different soul trees are added before the 150% crit or after it.

    Do you mean things like "Increases death damage by 10%" or "Increase combo point generating abilities by 15%" type stuff, or the ones that say "Increase your critical hit and healing bonus by 10%" ?

    If it's the first type, it gets applied before the 150% crit multiplier. If it's the second time, it changes the 150% multiplier to be 160% or whatever % you have from the abilities.

    Has anyone figured out what critical hit/heal rates are?
    I haven't seen any ways to increase the critical heal RATE on my Cleric.
    Thoughts?

    There are abilities, like the tier 1 Purifier one I believe, that increase the chance for your heals to critically hit by 1-5%. There are other abilities in the healing souls that increase your crit rate through other means.

    Raising your intelligence also increase your spell crit rate.

    Check out the Sentinel, Inquisitor and Shaman for the +20% crit heal amount increase
    If u r looking for Crit Heal Chance increase there also few skills that u can benefit from.

    Although it's weird that some of them are not added to final percentage in the Character Window under Stats :/

    Crit Rating increases Crit chance (and therefore "Rate").
    I saw another post where someone had worked out the ratio of Crit Rating to Crit Chance at a specific level but sadly can't remember.

    Anyway I would fully expect Crit Chance to be applied to both damage and healing.

    Hover over your Crit Rating to see your Crit Chance by the way.

    Probably because the stats window doesn't differentiate between damage and healing spells while many of the talents do...
