Default The new soul point based abilities

Those last patches, most class got a new ability based on how many points they spend on the same soul.
While i definately like those skills, i cant stop thinking about the impact on specs at high level.
For high end pve, i cant see why someone would not take 51 points in his main soul (or for warrior tanks 66 points in tank souls).
Lets take cleric as an exemple : a healer will have to take 51 points in his main soul, or else his healing abilities would be much much weaker. Or if the dungeons or raids where tuned for specs that do not require 51 points, then that would be mean healing would be trivial for someone with 51 points.
The same would go for DPS wars : paragons, champions and riftblades would need to have their 51 points for max dps.
The riftstalker seems to have a new ability along the same lines, but i bet other rogues will get similar stuff.
In the end, it means that appart for soloing, or small group pvp where versatility is needed, all high end pve build would fall into a 51/X/X spec, and while i like over-specialisation, i feel bad about the lack of diversity in specs we'll have in high end.
This is of course speculation, but i dont see how we can expect something else with the current trend of soul point based abilities.

i personally think its good they did this. makes it a lot easier to balance in the future if people are going to try tri spec chars. in a perfect world the soul system pre this worked amazing but as you can see on the boards so many changes in a hope to find a happy medium. too many "if i put 3 points into that it will boost my heals in another tree" situations.

its a shame because that was one of the main attractions to this game, but over all i think it will be a good thing

wtb every point over 31 for bard gives 2.5% (whatever) run speed :P id be a happy bunny
