They are more flexible- but without aoe by no means "double-for-free".
While clearly caring about damage and performance, consider not playing what you have in an optimal way.
As "Rogues as a class owning the game", Wile a heavy combi flamer in a fantasy setting surely is effective, every class brings unique strenghts to te table and has it's (multiple) sweetspots to shine.
Generaly still better balanced than Shadowlands etc tbh.

Cleric dps is harder to play(from what I hear) than other classes. When comparing most people you'll find rogues at the top. Bring in a good cleric though and rogues really only stand a chance if there is AoE.
