    Default The 51st point

I know this has been asked before, but I never saw an answer.Did they ever explain how we get the 51st point, level 1 or 50 gives 2 points for example?
Otherwise, if it is 1 point per level, and 50 is max level, 50 is the MAX points. Which renders the 51 point skill as prep for the level expansion, but otherwise unobtainable?

That, or max lvl is 60, and you get your first point at lvl 10 and every lvl thereafter.

I mean, I guess it would just be a guy who you know, grabs bananas and runs. Or, um, a banana that grabs things. I donít know.
Why would a banana grab another banana? I mean, those are the kind of questions I donít want to answer.

Well, pardon me, I'm glad the Grand Europe could correct me and save the day! They should give you a cape to wear!

I guess I missed it while I was becoming increasingly obsessed with a certain feature...

The Quicksave option... When I play, I press it every few minutes or so, I was hoping I could reload to a few minutes before I replied...Unfortunately all F5 did for me when I read your post was refresh the page...

this would be the most obvious, but seems people like to make big threads out of small things like this, making up Theories and Myths about 1 affinity point

The 51'st point is an achievement reward. It is only granted upon defeating ALL raid bosses.

I remember seeing a video where a demo character had the same number of points as it did levels (it was somewhere in the 20's) so I'd have to assume that the 51st point would be a kicker that you get when you hit 50. Instead of getting 1 point for that level, you would get a bonus point as well for reaching the level cap. I don't think you'll see it attached to any kind of achievement or quest or purchase. All you'll have to do is finish leveling and you'll get that 51st point. There seems to be too much freedom and breathing room in the class system to put an oddball restriction like that into play.

But it would also make with more points to be better prepared in various situations. Therefore, a world of difference between 49 and 50.

Maybe because, *GASP*, a character is never level 0?!?
It would be the same as 2 points at L1 as mentioned above in the OP.

I had done a search for the 51 point count posts, none were answered or recent, it might even be like Allods and have extra Skill/Talent points as quest rewards. (in Allods though only for cash shop farmers it seems)

From a Ten Ton Hammer hands-on way back in early August:

At spawn-in I was told that I have two soul tree points, so I immediately I got a taste of one of Rift's defining systems.
If that's true, you start out with two points.
