    Default Sentinel (Main/Raid healer) setup

    Let me know what y'all think about the allocation of the points in this setup. Looks like the best combination to me so far that I can come up with.

    I don't know, I prefer the idea of a 51 point sentinel. The skill at 51 seems invaluable. The amount of healing you could do as a full sentinel seems unmatched by any possible build that I can see from playing with the information that is currently available.

    Even my dark passenger wants to play Rift.

    Not a big fan of the sentinel for healing to be honest. Seems too much of a holy magic/paladin type class to me. I've played those too much in the past, I would much rather go with something different this time around. I think the warden is an incredible healer but lacks a rez, but if you're in a raid, chances are there will be other people who can do that, so you'd be able to go 51 points. They are a dot/group healer with a huge amount of healing points it looks like. Sentinel has a bunch of weird abilities that seem almost useless compared to other stuff you can get.

    As for that actual build, it seems pretty good, but I think a few of the talents in the inquisitor tree are unnecessary and could be better used elsewhere. I would probably only go 10 into the inquisitor tree, unless for some reason you really want that life and death resist buff but it doesn't seem that good to me.

    We also haven't seen much of the other classes like the druid or the final cleric class.

    I'm really thinking the druid is going to be one hell of a powerful class. If the pet is the tack on heal bot, it seems to me that the druid will either focus on nukes or CC or even possibly melee dps but those roles are already well covered by shaman and justicar.

    I have always been fond of the nature based nukers. I can't wait until we see the druid tree unfurled.

    I think the pet will probably just toss out a few HoTs and maybe some buffs. I don't think it will make up for an entire healing class. Druid will probably focus on healing as well but not be as good as some pure healers, but have the pet to fall back on for healing to "help out" automatically for people who might not be as good at healing. I'm sure they will have some damage and CC as well though.

    I think the points in Inquisitor will push mana regeneration nicely. To go 51 Sentinel and get the big Groupheal you would have to spend 16 more points into the tree which would only push the Sentinals damage.

    My fav is a Warden/Sentinal mix. I prefer HoTs and think this would be a good addition to a more direct heal focused healer (Sentinel or Purifier) on the maintank. . For not getting the 51 Group HoT from the roots i have to use the top branch talent and i get an instant, a "normal" and a groupheal from the Sentinals root.

    I'm not so sure about this tbo. My build consists of an additional 50% mana regen, 10% mana reduction, 20% reduced threat which is going to be a big thing probably with all the aoe healing, and 8% crit at all times and as a sentinel crit is a good thing.

    Imho by going 51 points in the Sentinel you get a lot of useless PvP talents that are not needed in raids. I agree the 51 point talent is sexy as h3ll but I'm willing to bet that cd is going to be pretty substantial. The additional talents from the Inquisitor is going to give you a better healing experience imo.

    I don't have this in my build. If threat is not an issue I could take out those 2 points and put them in the Purifier to raise my wisdom.

    Been playing with the calculator and so far I'm liking this build for my healer. I'll probably end up changing it around after the other two healing classes are added, but we'll see.

    rift :: cyrcle - 60 rogue // daunt - 60 warrior // tyaith - 60 mage // infuse - 60 cleric
    vanguard :: cyrcle - 55 bard // living on even past sunset :: never.forget

    I think the build looks solid.

    In my opinion the Inquisitor is going to be a solid secondary soul for most healers since its healing style talents are in the bottem of the tree.

    I haven't built a Warden soul yet but I don't know if I need to cause I like yours as is.. I'm going to have at least 2 healing souls so this may be one.

    Your build is ok for healing but I don't it has the capabilities of this build http://www.riftrolebuilder.com/build...00:purifier.50 . The only talent I wished I had on my build is "Ebb and Flow" - Increase wisdom up to 25% for 15 sec. That's my opinion though and it is liable to change come closer to launch.
