What tanking class do you find most fun?

I just returned to the game and was wanting to make a tank class. I started a Cleric tank but I'm curious what you guys think as far as the fun factor of this class....is the Cleric a good pick or is there a "more fun" class to you?

I'm not sure how could of an answer you will get out of this cause there probably aren't many people that play cleric, rogue, AND warrior tanks. I don't want to give my opinion because I am only a cleric tank so I can't really comment in comparison

Most fun, by far the Rogue. Porting all over the place is just fun, simple as that. Cleric perhaps has the most utility due to BRez+Heals+infinite aoe agro generatoin. Warrior can be fun in sub-optimal specs, but not nearly as fun as the porting Rogue in my opinion.

May be different end game, where I cannot offer opinions on "fun", I'll say this much, ID has me bored to tears as an OT, and that's not likely to change even if I was Cleric or Rogue.

Ive got a level 50 Hammerknell+ Geared of all three tanking classes...

I must say that in personal prefrence i enjoy Rouge tanking the most, mainly because of all the teleports and awesome cooldowns rogue tanks have to play with

I dislike cleric tanking the most... Just because even though im probably going to have some elite cleric tank telling me im doing it wrong i 'feel' like all you do is spam even justice

Like I said I have been gone a while so I'm not real clear what ID or OT is.....

ID is the latest Raid instance, OT is standard MMO jargon for Off-Tank.

You are doing it wrong. DoL is the main skill used in cleric tanking. Even Justice is just for convictions.

Personally I have only ever played a Rogue tank in Rift though I have found this to be highly enjoyable simply due to the mobility that the role offers. Moving around with what often feels like an endless supply of teleports is amazing fun and I think that if I were to try a Cleric or Warrior tank then I would definitely miss it.

Perhaps Clerics and Warriors have their own advantages that you might find appealing but for mobility my vote goes for the Rogue.

Except in 5 mans where EJ is more threat most of the time.

Except when that jerk rogue fans out making you whiff as you pull, then you rebuke them towards you and whiff again as they turn to go murder the healer that took aggro from healing the rogue.

Riftstalker tanking really isn't quite the art form it used to be, but it's still the most fun by miles.

I already answered a question like this in detail a few months back, but I'll try to give my opinion again.
Cleric tanks - best threat. no limit to the number of mobs we can indescriminately aggro with our heals. I've played all 3 tanking classes, and even rogue ports are not as fun as DoL spamming 100s of mobs onto yourself without having to move an inch and then watching your HP stay at full (though that is due to my 2 'on block' shield effects).
We also have some of the best CDs. half your HP as a shield every minute certainly can be a life saver.

Rogue tanks - highest mobility. porting is fun. porting 6 times is 6 times the fun.
again, no limit to the number of mobs they can affect with their threat, though unlike Clanks you have to be near the mobs.

Warrior tanks - the best, and the worst. highest mitigation however you slice it, but my word are they boring. I'll admit I don't play my Warrior tank as much as my others, but that still doesn't stop them from being bland yet effective.

Warrior = super boring

Reaver misbance is as fun as buying a collector roadster then realizing you can't take it out for a spin without killing its value.

Paladin and VK and warlord could have been fun and good tanks. But they are not. Staying alive is more fun.

Warriors have the most versatility.
Rogues have the most fun.
Clerics have the most DoL spam.
