Default Marksman and/or Ranger in PvE (solo and grp)

I'd be interested in sugested builds for ranged Rogue classes for PvE solo and grp situations

Both Marksman and Ranger togeather with one Melee class to off set, or one of the ranged classes with two melee?

I've only been in Beta 4, and that with a Warrior, but was thinking of a MM/ Rngr/Blade, heavy on points in the MM, and blancing the other two, but not had a chance to play that combo out

im thinking something closer to this

    http://rift-planner.com/?archetype=2...19,5_&lang=eng

the 6th point in nightblade gives 3% more damage on finishers and a 20% asassin like poison for fire damage

Here is a build I'm kicking around:

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0M...zcto.VhxoVzV.M

Now, I have no idea if it is effective or not....but it seems cool!

Also, I'm unsure if the AP bonus in the first tier of the Riftstalker tree applies to ranged AP or just melee AP.

i did one similar to this altho for pve i went more in the ranger spec for the pets than i did marks and for pvp i placed more in to sin to gain slip away and took some away from marks tree that way if things dont go my way i can get away :P

I like your build it will come in handy when theres more than one npc be able to stun one and slow down their movement.
I was even considering a saboteur instead of a ranger but i think i like it this way better ty for sharing.

Too much CC/ utility moves to be a PvE build

Having played the Marksman/Ranger/Assassin up to level 9, i've come to the conclusion that the Marksman and Ranger souls are too similar to actually compliment each other propperly. Also the Ranger pet takes way to long to summon and is an agro magnet when moving through a zone, even when set to passive/defensive. Mobs seem to agro the pet from quite a distance. So i'll be dropping the Ranger soul from my build in beta 6, putting more points into Assassin than planned, but unsure atm what i'll replace the Ranger with

i think it would be better to make a role for pvp and a role for pve, as one would always be superior to the other depending on the situation.

probably riftstalker if you dont plan on having a pet do your tanking for you, as marksman and assassin alone would make you quite squishy
