wouldnt use the spec myself. looks too spread out. lotta melee combined with ranged, i doubt it will work out the way you intend it to work out.

designed to be a solo run char... I like the idea of having a ranged char that can handle himself in a close up fight as well

You could have 2/3 separate specs and just swap them depending on the situation, takes seconds to swap and be good at range or close up melee.
"PUT ME IN COACH" I can do better than them!

can you swap specs in the middle of fight?

IE : start at ranged and as creatures close in swap to melee?

as I thought and since I tend to run solo a lot this seems to suit my style of play

In Beta 4 I used my marksman ability to pull and my riftstalker/assassin to finish while running ranged during the rift events with a group seemed to work out well except for the rogue energy issue especially on those Iron Mountain Giants

I am not a big fan of mixing ranged with melee when neither really enhance the other. Taking assassin and riftstalker only to use ranged for pulls and never utilizing stealth other than extreme utility just seems a waste. It certainly can be done however but I would work hard at trimming the fat as best one could.

I do love assassin/riftstalker though as they mesh incredibly well but I took Bard for my 3rd as it also has range and a great deal more utility that enhances the other two souls directly.

nice I do utilize stealth at times as well especially one on one... the marksman choice was for killing in mobby areas... In B4 I was taking one to two mobs down with ranged before the third came in close to be meleed down...

It was interesting in pvp to have someone attacked a ranged only to find out they could hold their own in a melee battle as well

I like the idea of a bard but just cant seem to bring myself to play one... haven't played one since my rat bard in EQ1
