    Default PvE DPS Warrior Builds

Hi. I was looking for some input on a few builds I came up with. I just want to note that these builds are entirely for PvE ONLY, and any PvP builds that I am considering will be much different and I do not wish to discuss them in this thread .

So, here are the 4 builds I came up with. I want to make it clear that I want a DPS warrior who uses 2 hand weapons only. That is primarily why I did not consider the Paragon soul.

    1) Champion (51) / Riftblade (10) / Beastmaster (5)

    http://rifts.ru/tallents/index.html#...16,5_&lang=eng

    2) Champion (51) / Riftblade (10) / Warlord (5)

    http://rifts.ru/tallents/index.html#...17,5_&lang=eng

    3) Champion (44) / Riftblade (14) / Warlord (8)

    http://rifts.ru/tallents/index.html#...17,5_&lang=eng

    4) Champion (49) / Riftblade (9) / Beastmaster (8)

    http://rift-planner.com/#?archetype=...20,5_&lang=eng

I am currently leaning towards build 1) with the champion (51) / Riftblade (10) / Beastmaster (5) build. I feel this one has the most dps potential. The 51 point champion root ability looks pretty badass which is why I am strongly considering putting 51 points in that build. Although build 3) has it's potential as well.

I'm not all that partial to pets however, which I why I considered throwing Warlord in there. It's a little difficult because with 6 points in warlord you can get "call to arms" which looks like it could be a solid buff for yourself or group / raid, but with 10 points in riftblade you also get avatar of wind, which is 5% dodge and 10% movement. So I can't go 51 / 10 / 6 . Now that I think about it though the 6 points in warlord may be better spent and just put 8 or 9 in riftblade.

Anyway, I am looking for input here. What do you guys think would be the best dps warrior build (using a 2 handed weapon). I am kind of going for an EQ Berserker type of build here since I loved that class ! Appreciate any reponses and feedback / criticism. Thanks.

If pets stop leveling at a certain level without getting the greater pet skill, I would not use beastmaster without getting it.. it would be extremely gimp in the later levels..

Well. Paragon is the highest dps primary warrior and is required as a subsoul to get the most out of any other primary (30% dmg finisher)

I would say champion is probably a "required" soul for max dps as well.. Even if its just for the added strength passive and Take No prisoners..

Aye para/champ/rift is highest current warr dps i would assume. Heavy champ is a superior pvp spec though imo with healing debuffs etc. Im mostly interested in what deep riftblade can do personally.

Interesting. I neglected paragon because it seemed to be a dual wield specialist soul but that finisher diffinitely peaks my interest.

I made a refined build, pretty quickly without considering overall impact, but I guess I could consider this as build 5.

    5) Champion (51) / Riftblade (11) / Paragon (4)

Thanks for the input so far guys and would appreciate more comments and feedback . First hand experience would be awesome as well!!

Hmm this build may work better.

    6) Champion (51) / Paragon (9) / Riftblade (6)

Why riftblade why not just pump a few points into pally for the defense and the added 10 percent dmg with 1 handed weapons

Sounds good I'm glad you guys told me about paragon definitely should not have overlooked their root abilities.

I'm just curious as I have tried out a few rogue builds, do you seem to run out of energy (or attack power I think it is for warriors) quickly? What is the burst vs sustained dps like at the moment?

    Thanks

I have no interest in using 1 hand weapons, I am interested in making a warrior that uses 2 hand weapons. I did look at paladin but I felt riftblade was better since it can add in a little extra dps as well as help return attack power.

I have a tank build that I will use as a secondary role if I am required to tank for whatever reason. The build I'm trying to go for here is something like an EQ berserker

Melee rogues are semi gimped at the moment. Devs promises to improve for next beta. Can put 5 points in nightblade to help with their problems somewhat.

OP specifically said he wanted a build featuring 2 handed weapons rather than dual wield
