    Question Reaver Questions

Ok so from the looks of it some people are saying that the Reaver is a faily decent tank but when compared to say, a Paladin, Reavers don't compare. (Survivability-wise). But I like the play style and look of the Reaver and not sure if I want to give that up.

So here's what Im thinking for the next event:
Main Soul = Reaver speccing in offensive skills/ healing
2nd Soul - Paladin focusing totally on Defensive talents and sheild skills
3rd Soul - Either BeastMaster or Warlord (depending on playstyle) could either choose BM for more offense or WL for defense.

    Would this work?
You could totally balance Paladin v Warlord in Offense v Defense but the question just keeps coming up:
Is it worth it to just roll Paladin?

Not sure, I haven't even played the game yet, just preparing myself with options. It seems like a lot more people are playing Paladins, or maybe people just aren't playing Reavers.

    Can anyone offer insight?

I found reaver more survivable, but that might just be the way I play.

I don't have much to add except the 3rd sould I'd choose is Voidknight for the magic protection it offers.

Well here's a problem I keep running into:

On the role builder I end up making my Reaver and Paladin trees so strong that usually I only fill one of the first talents. USUALLY.

Would it be taboo to just super-specialize in only two trees? or am I missing out on some important skills?

I'm definitely just going to have to try both and see what they are like.

Void knight gets a permanet +5% magic resistance with 0 points in it. My tanking setup was Reaver/Paladin/Void Knight with 27/9/0 points in the three at level 27. Worked great.
