Default Leveling Builds: Pets, Self Healing and Kiting Are there others?

What I've seen so far, the most important thing for solo leveling is to stay at high health most of the time, to avoid drinking or corpse runs. This is usually achieved through the self healing capabilities, by deflecting most of the damage to a pet an subsequent healing of the pet or by staying out of harms way through some forms of snaring/kiting

For warriors, self healing builds are reaver based, pet builds use the beastmaster soul. Any other builds that keep a warriors health up?

For rogues, self healing is done by the bard and rangers are used for pet builds. Are there any kiting builds out there? Marksman perhaps?

All clerics can heal through various methods: direct heals, over time, leeching or through pets. Is there a cleric soul with a tanking pet?

Mages are probably most versatile in this regard, since their cloth armor forces them to avoid as much damage as possible. In addition they have their pet classes.

It's interesting that a lot of the info/analysis is incorrect or completely missing.

I have a faint memory of this thing that can keep warriors and other classes alive without healing. It starts with a d.... da.... oh right, it's damage. Paragon/Champ/Riftblade. Have fun killing mobs in seconds. When mobs are dead, they can't hit you.

Warriors pretty much rely on killing fast to stay alive. They aren't healers you know. So swing that 2h (or dual 1hs) and you are good to go assuming you have a good spec.

Rogues either go bard for the healing (which actually doesn't feel that slow either until 30+ where real DPS souls pull ahead), ranger for the pet, or melee with 13 points in Riftstalker for the heal every time you kill something. You can also do Saboteur to drop things to 25% with your opening attack and just drink after every few mobs, but overall I think this is slower than the other options.

The question is, how much health is left after the fight? How long does it take until you can start the next one? There are many more methods out there to survive a fight, but how many can you do in sequence. AOEing a group counts as one fight.
