Default Melee jumping bug - fixed or not?

Not to QQ just wondering if this has been fixed yet or not, because I still see people trying to do it but more rarely.
Basically, jumping up and down used to (and the question here is if it still does) make you totally immune to all melee range attacks while you were in the air. Your attacker would simply miss whenever your feet were not on the ground, but the jumper could still use melee abilities and instant cast ranged abilities to hit you. I hadn't noticed anyone doing it for a couple weeks until the past couple days. Asked in /war, someone told me it was fixed, someone else told me it wasn't, 7 people had never heard of it. Didn't get a chance to look at combat log to see if I did often, and was also getting focus fired so I ran away instead of testing if the people had bugged levels of survivability.

There are many reasons to 'hop'.

    1) avoid stuns
    2) make melee miss because they aren't facing there target
    3) avoid being 'served'

Not sure about missing on all abilities but jumping definitely bugs a lot of stuns.

As in you stun a guy in midair and half the time, you'll get an out of range bug even when you're standing right on top of him. Making the stun completely wasted because you can't land anything on the guy until stun wears off.

    4) To annoy the opponent. This is my only reason.

    To make myself feel younger!

    To look a t**t

To make people think i am 12 instead of 37!

Hmm i could argue a few other reasons for players doing it but, lets be honest i have hit most of the top shelf on the head

Funny thing is when i am playing a Ranger...warriors still do it as they are aproaching me lol....it makes no difference whatsoever as my shots will only miss if they jump behind me. Still it gives me great satisfaction to do the little stand over the dead body bit pause.

so the consensus seems to be that no, the bug is not fixed, and that it's ok to shamelessly exploit a bug because everyone is doing it?

It's so stupid to see everyone sprinting around in circles around people and jumping up and down. It just illustrates who is bad at pvp (bunny hoppers and circle runners) and who actually has a clue.

Im tired of having to spin in circles to hit people it's just stupid, feel like I am playing halo half the time.

I destroy bunny hoppers even easier than static targets, most of them end up getting "you have to be facing your target" more often than me. <3 mouse turning.

makes me wonder if they still think carpal tunnel is worth it while looikng at their ressurrection timers.
