probably cleric, healing is basically always viable

sure you might be squishy at first but your always contributing.

Warrior. Go Riftblade and notice that naked you do 99% the damage of a full epic geared Warrior.

Casters in this game are totally gear dependent, melee are not. Spell Power scales incredibly well, Attack Power is worthless.

most melee classes scale to weapon dps.

weapon dps means more than all the rest of your gear, unless you are a reaver or riftblade.

uh? with my mage, having my gear or no gear is only a slight difference. It shows but i could still do well without it (if i keep my focus cap)

I often see green geared pyros topping KBs in scion. Basicly green geared mage > t2/pvp t2 rogue. So i would say mage or cleric eventually.

Bards basically get 0 contribution from gear. I've been tempted to run experts naked on my Bard just to prove a point though I think they probably need at least some Hit.

Find a good cleric. Tell them to heal the dummy with their gear on. Now have them remove just their weapon.

Now tell me healing isn't the most gear dependent thing in this game.

    ****.

all that i can say is that Cleric is not the class you are looking for, if you want gear independent class.
Bye Bye Rift. Say hi to Pyros.

Bards actually don't need any +hit provided you dont use damage codas. Cadence cant miss.

this is not true. I ran AP as a level 46 bard today, and my cadence missed like fvcking crazy, due to accuracy not being on my gear yet.

    bards need hit.

also, any bard who has a slight idea of what they're doing will be using coda of cowardice/distress to debuff their targets, and will not just be spamming coda of resto. we are there to provide supplemental dps as well as healin ya know
