    Default Nerfs that appear to be buffs (and negative talents)

    So, we all want buffs, and nerfs, but how welldo we *actually* know what we want?

    Can we design changes that are on the face of it, buffs, but actually nerfs?

    Example: Pillaging Stone cast time reduced to 1.4s with all Archon buffs&auras active

    On the surface: buff - cast time reduce for the main nuke! Score!
    Underneath : Burning Purpose has 1.5s ICD - doesn't proc on every cast - net DPS nerf.

    Well, you see, I have a theory that all of the Dev's notes first go through the merchandising department. In these departments live the people, who if they were more photogenic or prepared to do just a little bit more, would be politicians. But for one reason or another decided that it wasn't for them.

    But they still are masters of the Politician double speak and distraction technique. So they can take any question, baffle you with bull refuse and still not answer the question and leave you completely dazed enough to think you have been hehe. Also patch notes can be filled with 100's of things to baffle you if they so desire. Red herrings etc to make you think everything has been balanced and corrected, but secretly not hehe.

    BTW this is 90% a joke and probably 10% fact hehe

    You mean you thought of something and decided to make a thread about how clever you were.

    Puncture now causes targets to bleed for 30 damage over 20 seconds, instead of 22 damage over 10
    Enduring brew self poison effect no longer deals damage to the rogue
    Serrated blades now lasts 10 seconds instead of 6
    Rift Barrier can now be applied while Rift Guard is active
    Repelling shot now knocks back the target 3 times in quick succession, dealing half weapon damage on each knockback.
    Crippling shot now roots players target instead of just reducing their movement speed
    Backstab now stuns other players in pvp for 0.5 seconds
    Blinding powder, Rift prison and Dark containment now award a combo point
    Fiery spike now deals all its damage instantly instead of as a dot

    There's some nerfs, have fun with those
