Default Best class for lots of big crits?

Whats the best class/soul combos to play if you want to see a bunch of big crits?

Well, in pvp, the hardest I have ever been hit, hands down, was a pyro.
Don't remember who it was, but I remember the hit.

I think this one does a good job at critting:

    Shaman/Inq/Sent
    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00...V0xz.Ex0xtrsAk

60% additional Crit damage bonus, 18% crit chance bonus, additional 30% crit chance for Massive Blow.
Near unlimited mana with Endless Winter and Ageless Ice.
    And 7seconds 100% critchance with 1min Cooldown.

Nice build. I'd still say Pyro. They just seem to do everything else better than other classes right now.

Is pyro an effective leveling build? I should have stated I am still leveling. I have basically one of each class at 20-23, with the exception of my mage who is currently 16

For leveling purposes check out ele/stormcaller. Absolutely INSANE AoE farming, without ever being touched by a single mob.

More info can be found in the mage forums.

What about casters? They always seem to mess me up when I try to AOE.

Is pyro just big crits, or can it have a lot of crits?

Shaman get 7 seconds of guaranteed crits, they are the most OP right now.

He means the 31 point ability. Pretty sweet but it's on a 1 min cooldown and restricted to melee attacks only.

rofl at shamans. never seen an effective one since reaching lvl 50. all t2 dps clerics roll inquisitor for purge and ranged and all good pvp ones heal.

this guy is trolling you, go mage and never look back. you have a rare opportunity to be the most OP FOTM class right now, you should take it and never look back or doubt yourself!!!

with that said, champions crit the most with some of the biggest numbers... but as a bladedancer (lolrogue?) i have a 43% crit chance and crit all the time... but for small amounts so it's not great unless using dancing steel.
Useful Rogue guides since I don't want to answer 50 billion questions anymore:
Marksman, Ranger, Nightblade, Blink'Blade, Asstalker, Assdancer, and finally The Hoko Spec™
Hoko, teaching noobs the way of rogue pve until 12/20/11.

    Inquisitor or Pyro

Friend uses a Inqusitor/Justicar/Sent and it is pretty awesome for pve and useful in pvp.

    Pyro is just godmode atm.

Mages don't crit any where near as often as other classes. Don't buy into the hype. People are on this nerf mages tear instead of relearning how to play their changed classes. They aren't the gods people seem to think they are and the big crits every one seems to point to are near impossible to get in normal play.

Pyro is not a leveling build. It has a lot of down time and more than a couple things hitting you will probably kill you especially at the beginning. You die a lot learning pyro.

Necro/warlock is pretty much the leveling build. Decent survivability and next to no downtime. Expect to get killed a lot on a pvp server until you get higher level and have the skills to deal with stuff.

Interesting how this turned into a mage thread, lol. So is Shaman really the best bet for lots of crits? And for that matter is any melee build currently able to hold up to any of the good caster builds?
