Default VERY interesting PoV from Maelforge.

Ok, so Ive just posted on the art thread to check to ask if all the details are correct but check out the lore in this article:

    http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/g...ge-Rising.html

Since it was Elrar that linked the article Im saying that it is very likely canon lore.

    Wow!

Thats some pretty awesome stuff. Curious its suggests it was Crucia that turned the Bloodstorm on Regulos. And that the Bloodstorm has killed gods of other worlds (and that Regulos may hold their 'essence'). Im gonna have to mull over it some more.

Makes me even more curious what exactly the gods are.

Also Im curious what the 'spaces between the planes' are.

I loved that story! I also love the "For Maelforge" book in the game that tells the story from the Dragonian point of view on the Plane of Fire. I think these stories have made Maelforge my favorite Blood Storm character, though I am anxious to see what comes from Crucia's direction.

Definitely a nifty bit of lore

Elrar pretty much just confirmed its canon lore. VERY VERY INTERESTING.

    Interesting points:

    - Crucia lead the rebellion against Regulos
    - Different worlds have their own unique gods
    - The Bloodstorm has killed gods before
    - Thedeor was considered a strong god of war on the whole god scale
    - Regulos may have the souls or some such of a few killed gods tucked away somewhere
    - The Vigil talked Thedeor out of openly facing Mealforge
    - For some reason this time mortals were able to seal the dragons where gods had fallen before

    So much stuff.

Im also curious about the relationship between the planes and the different worlds. Are the planes single worlds connected to all 'mortal' worlds or are the planes like seperate universes with seperate versions of each world?

And maelforge dealt with crucia himself?? is she still against us?? or maybe working with the Vigil? I'm not 100% up on lore so I am probably wrong

Bloodstorm is not one big happy family. Possible Crucia's plan: let other dragons fight Regulos, then finish the survivors and have all worlds for herself.

That does pretty much fit in with her "I want to rule everything" mindset.

Thanks for the link Lutinz, and for the question asked.

and I love how the world of Telara is referred to as a Star and that creation might come from ashes.

Crucia does seem to want to be the only Bloodstorm, Maelforge as well.

Wonder why The Vigil wouldn't let Thedeor fight. And why Thedeor went along with it.

Possibly because they knew Thedeor couldn't possibly take on all six dragons by himself? Or maybe it had to do with the trap (I assume it's a trap) that the Vigil sprung on the six so that they could be sealed by mortals.

I was talking about just fighting Maelforge. which seemed to be what Maelforge wanted.

From the sounds of thing, Mael likes to challenge whomever is the "Champion" of whatever Pantheon of Gods he comes across in single combat.

    Mael: "hey crucia.."

Crucia: "yeah? shouldnt you be takeing my orders?"

Mael: "hell no! *fire to the face* COMEATMEBRO!!!"

If ever I wanted a mount or companion pet it would be a mael spawn....

Verily, Maelforge did say, "Suffer all the bros to come at me!"

    Yeah, that piece is canon.

Obviously, Maelforge thinks Thedeor hid out of cowardice. Maelforge himself cannot understand discretion, only valor.

I wonder the form of Valor that comes from this element of fire

and I wonder too, in your story of the Boar Spear, what magic did Laria, an elf? perform on the Chalice that was hidden in Gloamwood.
