Default Planetouched Wilds Rare Map and Guide!

    Planetouched Wilds Rares

Here is a map to find all the locations for every rare in Planetouched Wilds. These Coordinates were all gathered and confirmed by me Solaura@Greybriar and Dior@Greybriar. Below is a macro you can copy and paste and little extra info for each rare to help you hunt.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Reward
This is the reward for killing all 160 rares in Planetouched Wilds! Below is an image on what they Item lets you turn into. Admit it you want one of these!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Target Macro

    Tar Teth
    tar Alpha khad
    tar Alpha khahd
    tar Alpha skyhunt
    tar Alpha khadbukh
    tar Alpha khadsuu
    tar Alpha krill
    tar Twisted
    tar Warleader
    tar huntmaster
    tar High priest
    tar ancient alpha
    tar Ancient Skyhunter
    tar outcast
    tar dominant flying
    tar ancestor shrine
    tar ancestor spirit
    tar corpse moth
    tar gol chot
    tar agaaryn
    tar orca pack
    tar sky whale herd
    tar ancient spirit
    tar silverback wolf packleader

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Baac Bane (Baacs)

This guy doesn't path around anywhere. Careful trying to take one down in the north location, as it is surrounded by elites that will probably get pulled when you pull the rare mob.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Counter Sniper (Baac Hunters)

Nothing special with this one either, doesn't really path anywhere.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Deicide (Baac Worshiper)

Nothing to special about these. They stand in there spot and don't really move much and are really easy to check as they are all in the same area.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Banana Revolution (Babaroos)

These guys spawn all around the small ponds at the coordinates on the map. Make sure you run through them all.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Extinction Level Event (Khadgak)

These guys have a very small path, you should be able to pick them all up at the spawn point with your macro.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mortuus Est Rex, Salve Rex (Khadluu Khan)

These guys walk around there spawn point a little but are really noticeable.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Resonance Cascade (SkyHunter)

Nothing special about this one, doesn't move from its spawn point.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Faces of Death (Outcast Ancestor Spirit)

These guys spawn in a large area in the North East part of the map. Make sure you check the entire area.

    -Image soon to come-

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tired of these Snakes on this Plane (Flying Serpent)

These guys have a somewhat large spawn area. Make sure you check around the spawn location.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Agitated Ancestors (Ancestor Shrine)

These guys are a bit spread out in the North East Part if the Map. You should run all the way to the corner and back to make sure you don't miss any of these guys.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Lepidopterist (Corpse Moth)

Corpse Moths work a bit different from the other rares in this zone. There are 5 locations in the East part of the zone where "Sky Behemoth Whales" can spawn dead with "Corpse Maggots" around them. In order to spawn a moth you must kill the Corpse Maggots around the whale. Each Corpse Maggot has a chance to spawn a moth and you can spawn more than 1 moth or 0 moths per whale. I have spawned as many as 3 moths in 1 whale and have gone 15+ whales without anything spawning. So its really just about luck.

Another thing to note is that, with enough distance the Corpse Moth will Stealth. I've had a few instances where I didn't even realize I spawned a moth and only found out as I was running through the whale when I was done. So after each whale I run through the skeleton just in case.

Here is what the whale looks like when it is not up.

Here is what it looks like when it is up.

and here is what the Corpse Moth actually looks like when its spawned.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Naga Gumbo (Naga)

This rare pretty much stays in its same area and has a very small path. The only thing to note about this guy is at 11,521 / 6,166 Coordinate, it stealths. So when your checking that spawn point make sure to run through the small pond to make sure he's not hiding there.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Holoceneian Extinction (Khadbukh)

Careful attacking this one. It is usually right next the the open world raid boss and a lot of times you will accidentally grab it.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Salty Salties (Khadsuul)

These mobs are found in the water mostly and don't really path at all.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The Not-so-great Old Ones (Shalastiri)

Going to this Coordinate 9,904 / 5,064 will let your macro pick up mobs from both locations.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Don't Eat Shellfish (Krillado)

Nothing special with these mobs. They path in a small area.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Apex Predator (Sky Orca)

These guys have a large spawn area. Make sure you check the entire half circle where they are located, sometimes they spawn close to the edge and your macro may miss them if you don't get close enough.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Death from Above (Sky Whale)

This mob has a very small path, you should be able to pick it up at the locations if its up.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    High Winds (Spirit Kite)

Nothing Special with these mobs. They don't path anywhere.

    -Image soon to come-

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Leader of the Pack (Silverback Wolf)

This mob doesn't move from its spawn location.

Thank you Solaura and Dior for writing up this guide and especially the map. I wish I could print it out the way it looks on the screen

It was fun grouping up with you and Dior and getting your last Water Moth ! I think it took us about 3 hours or so and as usual had a blast!

Default Beat me to it :)

So I was going to make a thread about this myself as I too had been creating a map for the rares but you beat me to it ^.^

They are basically the same however I will still post mine here to help people out as I do have a couple of extra spots you don't have marked in, eg I came across an extra Skyhunter spot around 8850,5574. And there are a few others I think. But more points equals more chances! So hopefully might help some people save even more time if they combine what we have

The only marks on my map I haven't personally confirmed are the Khadgak point at around 8685,5324 and the Khadbukh point at around 12068,6212. But I still included them based on conversations id had with other people/other online sources. Otherwise I have confirmed that mobs spawn at every other mark I have made

I currently have 159/160 with just a Life Twisted Babaroo being particularly elusive for me, but hopefully it will come soon so I can turn myself into a dinosaur too :3

This is truly amazing amount of work.

Just one thing, I can't seem to find the link to the map or open it.
