    Default Quest - Port Authority

I am probably missing something but I've been trying to do this quest for awhile and am tired of it. Can somebody tell me the safe code please?

    Thanks.

OK this quest is do-able but kinda buggy.... you have to play the simon game with the 4 colored orbs at one of the energy source locations... the problem was the first 2 energy sources i visited didnt have the orbs... the third one i went to at 8261, 8303 had the orbs and i was able to complete the quest.

Simon game? Pray tell us more--I've been messing with it for about an hour and it still doesn't make any sense. Thanks for any help!

It's a basic game of Simon. You just have to repeat the pattern of colors it flashes.

There's really nothing more to tell.

I found if you have your video setting on really low for some reason you wont be able to see the glow. Try setting your settings for this on high and click one of the orbs , it will then make one glow, click the one that glows and it will repeat another two ... and so forth... just like the game simon.

But again i had to set my video on high to see them glow i had it set low for pvp....

BINGO! I could see NO glowing until I also turned OFF Low Quality Rendering (Hit the ESCAPE key, then choose Settings; Video; Advanced; then UNcheck 'Low Quality Rendering'). You will also have to restart the game. I had to do the same in reverse to get low quality back on for normal play.

Thumbs up Low render video settings

Thank you, Temptations! This is exactly what was wrong. A bit of a pain to reset the game, twice, but much better than having to drop the quest....especially when it's such an easy one.

For those that still don't understand the game of Simon I'll give you an example. If your first orb that glows is purple, when it stops glowing you just press the purple orb. End of round one. The next round makes you remember two colors, so your next round may glow green and then blue. You press green then blue after they're done glowing. End of round two. There are only three rounds, total, so only three colors to remember on the last round.
