Mentoring and Cleric Tanking
Good Morning,
I was looking for more information on the actual effects of mentoring down. As a cleric tank, it seems that my Mien of Leadership does not function when mentored at any level, at least when it comes to Hitpoints and the improved endurance values. Threat seems to work alright, but it is hard to tell. I have had several experiences where I have been voted out of a group because my HP was too low (for a mentored dungeon?). At 50 I sit with a nice 13.5 k hp as a somewhat fresh cleric tank. If I even drop to level 45 - this drops to 3-4 k. This doesn't seem correct as other classes of that level are surpassing my HP and rendering me useless as a tank in a mentoring scenario.
I really enjoy being able to mentor down - But, I wish that I could still perform my chosen role in these circumstances.
Is there any information about this? Am I just missing something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I ran a search for mentoring, tank, cleric and didn't find any good topics on the matter.
Thanks!

Theres a couple other threads on this topic. If I recall correctly our miens are not factoring up our endurance like they should be. You can test this by switching miens and watching your HP barely move at all. This problem affects Rogue and Justicar tanks.
A second problem I have been running into is mana regeneration. I don't know what is causing it but as a level 50 tank I never run out of mana because when I block I get mana, but when I mentor I am constantly running out of mana.
Anyhow the first is a known issue, the mana regeneration issue has not been addressed.

Yes, this needs to be addressed.
As pointed out, mana usage also is way off. While mentoring as a tank, my mana bar empties out very quickly. Then, I can completely fill it with one or two ticks of Aggressive Renewal (but not often enough, given its cooldown). Both of these facts point to an overall problem with how mana usage and recovery scales.
