What a worthless new set of dailies today.

So I launch Rift and it is patching, I am reading the patch notes and getting really excited. I love crafting btw. Basically I am reading about golden dragon eggs and new golden coins. So my server is finally unlocked and I get in and start doing the quests.

Okay the new golden currency are coins "falling" out of the sky in Meridian? Okay well that was kind of a waste of time but whatever.

So I pick up the 3 quests to turn in for some nice looking stuff. A buddy and I go out to SS and start farming rifts. We both hit 40 eggs and I port out to turn in my quest while he is running to banner me to the invasion boss. I turn in the quest, server first, and server first PURPLE EPIC chest. I am licking my chops with what could come out of that chest. I open it and BOOM, I get a level 25 green artifact.... I don't think I even need to explain how I felt. I wasn't expecting some magical BiS epic to fall out....but come on.

So anyway we go back out to SS and start farming more rifts to get our crafting bags! We are pumped about that! Yeah man some cool new rare crafting stuff like the patch notes said. We both get back and turn them in, I do Weaponsmith and he did Armorsmith, we both got a total of 6 each random level 10-30 dusts.....

So the highlight of that questing experience was being rolled by 8290380 guardian trying to get my eggs and the 5 Eternal Planar Dust I got. I mean I guess I should be thankful i was tricked into doing rifts so I could get my 5 eternal dust.

Patch notes. Pretty much they didn't say "new dailies to keep you busy, but not really worth the time". Oh yeah you won't get any type of item over level 30.

It's the first day of the event calm down. Looking over the patch notes it also doesn't say "You won't get any low level crafting items" I guess that's part of the CHANCE you have for a reward.

i agree, we already have a chance of getting crap, why add new quests with more chances of getting crap? no one likes the current crafting quests due to how much they cost and the chance of getting plaques... we dont need chances, we need certainties!

i will not be doing these new quests thx to the OP here. ty for letting me not waste any time.

You guys are smart. I didn't ask for a rare anything or an epic anything.

So spending an hour and a half killing 44+ mobs to do 3 quests that have a CHANCE of giving you something that could have a CHANCE of being something anyone 30+ wouldn't just delete from bags seems right? It gives you low level items...

A level 25 green artifact for 40 eggs? LOL, that is the stuff EVERYONE is getting, except for that person that got a cat lmao...

You can do it again tomorrow for another chance.

Or you don't have to do it at all.
